I had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment. I wasn't happy about that. As it turns out, though, that was due to a new gel nail polish that the salon recently is trying out. It takes about an extra 10 minutes for the nail lacquer to set, thus putting them very behind schedule.
I enjoyed a long foot soak, followed by a very thorough skin exfoliation with a cinnamon and brown sugar scrub. After that I was treated to a soothing wax dip and wrap which further helped to vanquish all of the dead skin from my tired heals. My feet were bad, very rough and cracked due to increased sandal wear. Now my feet are super soft and smooth.
To compensate me for my waiting time I was given a complimentary gel nail polish treatment. I told Paula she was wasting her time because I am an art teacher and my nails never last because I'm always in water, paint, and clay. She insited we try it and I am to report back on the wear and tear of my nails and to tell her how my nails actually hold up. I appreciate her gesture and value put on my waiting time.
Because of the excellent service and thoroughness of the treatment, I would highly recommend this business. Paula is the owner and she provided my service. The place is very clean and they thouroughly clean everything with hospital grade disinfectant. I was amazed at how clean the nail area was, because most places around town are very dirty. Paula assured me that they usually run on time and call if they are running that late.
So give them a try. I'm sure you will enjoy your experience here and I will be back. Plus, they speak Enlish here, so I could actually talk with the person doing my nails!
