Artist Howard Freeman of wallustrations.com is hired by Commercial Center Business Association non-profit to paint a series of murals at The Historic Commercial Center District in Las Vegas. In an effort to discourage graffiti, create community pride, and bring color to a vast 1000 space shopping center public parking lot. This project has been highly successful since 2007 and a series of beautiful murals have already been finished including seagulls, flowers, Chinese goldfish, and a world peace sign, all on utility boxes and in places that were once targeted by taggers.
